The job was done so clean that I hope that the Allies can get on German teratory.  I hurd there will go out of the throat of every soulder a grate Hip Hip Horo every time they see Fritzs buildings and men fly in the air 
They will make Germany look like desert of southern California & have make many sketchs and writn much about this fight.  but am just relying now that we were placed when we realy had the opportunity to do much good all this brave men.  Mr Blanc iss [[is]] on hiss [[his]]

[[?]] for about 15 days, Jim is still with me.  but beleave that as soon as Blanc comes back, he will be moved and I have to go allso. I did read your poetry month, and though it fine but if I had known then what I know now that five years of poetry and cards would have been steeping in that for un tell now, we are just dying for sum and will try and get candy & tobaco for the soulder but cannot. The candy non at all the tabacs about 1/3 of the time  the French are always asking us for American cigretts
