closed it being now 6 p.m. so we came back to the hotel. And I tell you was I tired I took a friend with me so could talk part of the time Frenkein. I could not keep up with his talking, andway he is a mighty good fellow and I had a splendid day with him. He will telephone to the Banzet tomorrow and make an appointment for tomorrow evening for me. All my work is finished now and am ready to go at a moment's notice which I hope will come soon. I want to get to work. The weather has been beautiful again today. I wish you would see Mrs. Ashley to let you know the name on the two packages which I was to send away. We had to break them open the addresses were lost. I will keep them in my trunk until I hear from you. I want to send them to their destination so the poor fellows can have a good smoke. Everything that is good in Paris goes to the soldiers even the smokes, we must line up on what is not considered good for the soldiers Lots of love and kisses to you my dear wife, Solon and I do not forget August, Lucy and George Paul, and hope they are all settled by this time
