that we can start a school with all this material, as a beginning, in america I have about 200 photographs. some etching, drawings, + paintings to bring home. the look is goin[[going]] to be a fine one. [[strikethrough]]it w[[/strikethrough]] this was realy a beautiful ending to all of us. The young men are comming to us every few minutes these last days and thanking us most hartily [[heartily]] for what we have done for them. I were of good written [[strikethrough]]and[[/strikethrough]]. there could be pages written about this work. and then these boys have had an opportunity to see another side of france. and the french people, who are very good to them and this wonderfull country so full of [[strikethrough]]thes[[/strikethrough]] grate works of art. well my dear for years to come the french nation will be a beaten track for the  American ex soldier as fast as they get a little money they will come look and wander over there old battle grounds. am enclosing a letter written by
