Presentation of Bicentennial Programs for 1976
The Secretary observed that the commemoration of the Bicentennial of the American Revolution in 1976 would cause extraordinary tourism in the capital city. The Smithsonian is therefore making preparation for the Bicentennial and would like to present to the Regents brief descriptions of the following exhibits.
National Air and Space Museum;
"Nation of Nations," National Museum of History and Technology;
Bicentennial Park;
National Zoological Park;
The Year of the Centennial - exhibit in the Arts & Industries Building; and,
Exposition for the Nation's Capital.
A summary of remarks on each exhibition is attached.

Adjournment
The meeting adjourned at 12:30 p.m.

Respectfully submitted:
S. Dillon Ripley
Secretary
