CHAIRMAN AND DIRECTOR

OFFICE OF
THE DIRECTOR

June 17th, 1919.

My dear M.R.

I have both your letters of June 7th and 12th from Havana but as yet your camp chest has not arrived. I suppose, however, it will be along in a few days.

Accept my sincere congratulations on the way in which you handled the delicate situation with Dr. Delatorre. As long as he is satisfied, I certainly am. If Dr. Deltorre comes up here with you, do not worry about his entertainment. We will see that is done properly.

I have quite a surprise for you when you return and I feel sure an agreeable one but just to keep you guessing, I am not going to tell you about it until you reach here which I suppose will be inside of a couple of weeks.

Everybody well and happy and working hard.

With best wishes,

Mr. M.R. Harrington,
Hotel Plaza,
Havana, Cuba.
