New York City

Dear Mr. Harrington,
I have the following to add. - My estimate as regards trip to Baracoa + surrounding country has been to low.-
I should say 3 @ 4 weeks trip, including steamship fare will be about $200.-, plus $100.- for small purchases; Total $300.-
Mr. Ham, my chief, who is very much interested in everything connected with ethnography, [[?]] commends himself + I as well, to get a volume of your book, which you intend to finish this year -
I notified Mesorel[[?]] Rada + Rey of Mr. de Pooy's death-
Hoping soon to hear back from you, I remain,
Yours sincerely,
G. H. Jonker
