Archaeological Discovery

An illustrious friend, Dr Don Fernadez Ortiz, has directed to the President of the "Academia de la Historia" the following interesting communication:

Sir:-

As a member of your institution I have pleasure to inform you, that I have been able to discover on the Island Pinos, the remains of a pre Columbian temple.-

At this moment I am studying, clasifying and interpreting archaelogically a few of the objects found, as well the "Pictografias," which have been conserved, and trust, that for the novelty of the discovery, a detailled account will be of interest to the "Academia," which to my modest judgment, will be the way to make some interesting paletnologicas? deductions.-

It will take some time yet, before the work will be finished, not as far as concerns the shortness of time, which I am able to
