The school house close on the other side-  That mill pond is now the reservoir for water supply to Ravena-  There the Indian foot path crossed- And a great falls 100 feet high or more and a wild rocky deep gorge cutting through the lime rock, near the [[Brink?]] of the falls. It is all lime rock, so old as to be without fossil- Then rows of pot holes on the sides near the brink- in the bottoms of pot holes the stones near egg shape with points at centre [[image]]
There lies cut from lime stone. What we children called the Penny rock. It was to me a mystery until twenty years ago
