Dear Mr. and Mrs. Harrington:

Your unique and courteous invitation was received this morning inviting me to your home on Friday or Saturday, June 15th and 16th.

I regret that it will be impossible for me to accept the invitation inasmuch as the annual summer Jinks of the Sunset Club is to be held on June 15th, 16th and 17th at the ranch of Mr. Harry Bauer in Pine Canyon, Antelope Valley. As I am chairman of the Jinks Committee, it will, of course, be essential for me to be on hand at all times to attend to the details which fall to the job of chairman. However, I thank you none the less for your thoughtfulness in inviting me and shall look forward to calling at your home at another time.

With kindest regards and best wishes to you both always, I am

Sincerely yours,
Henry O. Wheeler
