 Bureau of Refugees, Freedman and Abandoned Lands,
                      Washington, Sept 2d, 1865.

Know all men by these presents that I Dr James Mc E Millikin Prince George County State of Maryland, held and firmly Bound to the United States of America in the sum of two (2) Hundred dollars for the payment of which I bind myself my Heirs Executors and Administrators firmly by these presents in this Contract. That I am to furnish the person whose name is subjoined (Free Laborer) quarters full substantial and healthy Rations. And all necessary medics attendance and supplies in case of sickness. And the amount set opposite his name per month. During the confirmation of this contract. This contract to be broken only by mutual consent, one half of the wages to be claimed until the expiration of this contract.
