Know all men by these presents that I, James B. Smith of the County of Prince George State Maryland held and firmly bound to the United States of America in the [[loan?]] of two (2) Hundred Dollars for the payment of which I find myself me heirs and administrators family in that contract that I am to pay the man whose name is subjoined and the sum set opposite to his name and to furnish quarters, good healthy and supplies.and substantial Rations. And all necessary attendance in the case of sickness. Tho said amt.per month payable {?} less 25(%) per cent which amount is to be obtained until the termination of the contract to be broken only by mutual consent.
