Know all men by these presents that I, William
Davis of Howard County State of Maryland hold and
firmly bound to the United States of America in the
sum of two (2) Hundred dollars for the payment of
which I bind myself any heirs. Executors and Administrators
firmly in these presents in this contract
that I am to furnish the Persons whose name are
subjoined.(Jw Labors) quarters fuel, full and substantial
and healthy rations and all necessary attendance and
supplies in case of sickness and the amounts of offers their Respedion names per month, hearing the Continuation of this Contract. In the case of John Ellis. Law to provide quarter for himself + family (Ve'z, wife + two children. And rations for himself only- in the case of Jos. Incker. I am to provide quarters for himself wife + (3) thru Children and rations for himself + wife + (3) children + [[crossed out]] s [[crossed out]] as per above- + [[crossed out]] s [[crossed out]]. And it is expressly sum destined that the price William Davis. is to retain (25) twenty five per cut of paid wages sum til the termination of this Contract. this Contract to be broken only by mutual Consent.

I think at the bottom on the right side it says "And it is expressly understood that..." not "And it is expressly sum destined..." I thing it says "paid wages until the termination..." not "paid wages sum til the termination"
