P.S. I would state further with regard to Tiny's wage for last month at $4, that, she consented to it for the following reason. When she came for two weeks, she cooked, ironed, & washed as per contract, for which $5 per month were to be paid. After two weeks she gave up the washing and I was put

to the greatest trouble to have it done at an expense of 2 or 3 dollars per month. In two weeks more she gave up the ironing - and three weeks later gave up entirely, doing nothing since that time, but eat and sleep. She consented to the reduction on the last three weeks of her service - as she would not do the work.
