Know all men by these presents that I, Julian J. Mason of King's County, Va held and firmly bound to the United States of America in the sum of (200$) two Hundred dollars for the payment of which I bind myself, my heirs, Executors, and Administrator firmly by these presents in this Contract. That I am to furnish the persons whose names are subjoined (free Labors) quarters full substantial and healthy ration. And all necessary attendance and supplies in case of sickness and the amount set opposite their respective names per month, monthly during the Continuation of this contract. Less (25) twenty five per cent which amount is to be retained until the termination of this time of service, then to be paid in full to the undersigned Employees. This contract to be broken only by mutual consent.
