Know all men by these presents that I James A. Goldsborough of Talbot State of Maryland held and firmly bound to the United States of America in the sum of Two Hundred (-$200.) Dollars for the sum of which I bind myself my heirs executors and administrators firmly by these presents in this contract that I am to furnish the person whose name is subjoined (free laborer) quarter full substantial and healthy rations and all necessary attendance and supplies in case of sickness also the amount set opposite his name per month, monthly, less Twenty Five (25) per and which amount is to be retained until the termination of this contract. then to be paid in full to the undersigned employed. this contract to be broken only by mutual consent.
