Know all men by these Presents that William Jones of Millersville Annarundal County State of Maryland held and firmly bound to the United States of America in the sum of three hundred ($300) Dollars for the payment of which I bind myself my heirs executors and administrators firmly by these Presents in this Contract, that I am to furnish the persons whose names are subjoined (freed laborers) Quarters, full Substantial and healthy rations and all necessary attendance and supplies in case of sickness and the amount set opposite their respective names per month, monthly less twenty five (25) per cent which amount is to be retained until the termination of this contract then to be paid in full. These conditions having been fulfilled this bond to be null and void otherwise of full force and virtue
