Dear Sir:

Dr. Grinnell expected that it might be best to call a meeting to draft a letter to the Commissioner of Indian affairs about the suggestions that the Executive Committee of the Sequoya League were to give concerning the amendments before the final action that Congress is to take about the Vreeland Bill.  The time, however, is so short and the matter will come before Congress next Thursday, Dr. Grinnell has thought best to draft a letter himself which I now enclose. 

Will you kindly mail this letter to me to-night together with any comments or suggestions.  Or if you approve of the letter as it stands, will you kindly let me know. Also at what time and place to-morrow would
