My Dear Doctor,

The blanket from Santa Fe reached me yesterday and I am much pleased to receive it. You found the right one, which on close inspection is in better condition than my memory made it. The valuation marked was greater than the sum given you so again comes the old question "how much" in excess of the amount given to you? Many thanks for the trouble you have been to on my account.
