reading a book about Indians, and I hope that this will not be the last one.

The Indians we talked about last Tuesday had no Cliff Dwellings but the great, great grandfathers of the Indians who made the turquoise beads that I showed you, did live in these houses many, many years ago.
It will be a pleasure to welcome you here at the Museum again when we can have a little talk about the Cliff Dwellers.
My dear little Miss Ten Broeck:-
I want to thank you for the sweet little letter that you sent me. I was so glad that the little talk on Tuesday was of interest to you, and I was glad that you told Mama about the Indians, and what they make.
I have visited a number of the Western Indians who live in wigwams, and if you will come to the Museum again, we will see some of the pictures of those people who lived near the Indians that we talked about last Tuesday.
My dear little Miss Lummis:-
I was so glad to receive a letter from you and to learn that you are so greatly interested in the Indians. I hope that you can call again in the very near future, and that the Indians seen at Hartford will not be the last ones that you will see. If we cannot see the live Indians in New York, we can at least see the beautiful things that they make, which have been collected and brought to our Museum for that purpose.
