My dear Hodge:-

Have received the manuscript of the Cushing library and have made several selections from same. As soon as Brittin and Saville have a chance to go over it, I shall return it to you.

In talking with Brittin a few days ago he emntioned the fact that he would be glad to get hold of a few of Cushing's drawings, no matter how aesthetic or how simple they may be. He feels that he would like to have these in his library, and he also said that he would be glad to purchase a few of Cushing's manuscripts. I thought perhaps there might be a few short ones that have been published, and which Mrs. Cushing would be glad to convert into ready cash. If you can arrange for anything of this kind, you might send the drawings and manuscripts to me with prices attached, and I will endeavor to market them for Mrs. Cushing.

I want to thank you for looking up the Weather Lore. I find [[strike-through]] find [[/strike-through]] that the objects mentioned contain references to Zuni sayings.

I received wotd from the Catholic Publishing House in Philadelphia some days ago, and have sent for a copy of the translation of the "Rudo Ensayo". I shall be glad to get this for my library.

Very sincerely yours,

(G.H.P.)
