Mr. M. C. Long,
Missouri Ave. & Main St.,
Kansas City, Mo.

My dear Mr. Long:-

I have been looking forward to my Western trip for some months, and now that it is become a reality, I have hopes of being able to stop an hour or so in Kansas City and have a chat with you.

I have one of your photographs before me, the one that shows the large group of Southwestern pottery. There are two which you can identify without any elaborate description, one is a standing figure of an animal with a stick, or some object, held in its paws; the other is piece of pottery, the base of which is formed rep-representatives of human feet. If you can make a good price on these two pieces, I may be able to sell them for you, as a friend who saw the photograph admired these two specimens especially.

Hoping to hear from your as soon as possible, and trusting that I may hae the pleasure of seeing you while in Kansas City, I am as ever,

Very sincerely yours,
(G.H.P.)
