Dr. A. L. Kroeber,
Affiliated Colleges,
San Francisco, Cal.

Mr dear Kroeber:-
I received your letter regarding Dr. Jones some days ago, and I want to thank you for your promise to keep an eye open for the Doctor.

I have just received your [[strike through]] three [[strike through]] two monographs entitled, "Types of Indian Culture in California" and "The Languages of the Coast of California South of San Francisco" also "The Exploration of the Potter Creek Cave" by William J. Sinclair. I am exceedingly glad to see that you are able to put so much on paper this year. As you know, we have our troubles in this line and are therefore, glad to find that others are not sharing our difficulties.

Thanking you for the works mentioned and hoping that you will be able to keep up the good work, I am as ever,
Very sincerely yours,
(G.H.P.)
