Dear Mr. Pepper:-
On my return this morning I find your telegram and letter, and regret exceedingly having missed you. The man in charge of our exhibit at St.Louis stated that you were in a few days ago and I was rather in hopes of running across you at St.Louis.
I cannot tell for several days just when I will leave for Albuquerque and the West. I may leave in two or three days and I may be compelled to remain in this vicinity until after the 17th. As soon as I know definitely I will write you further.
Hoping to see you in the near future,
Yours very truly,
