We have taken in all of the interesting sights that we could in such bad weather. We went to the National Museum the day that we arrived but were told that it was closed on account of bad weather. I left my card for Dr. Leon but found later that he had gone to Puebla, MexĂ­co, to study some of the native tribes. A second attempt to obtain admission to the Museum failed so I grew desperate and bribed one of the officials who arranged with Dr. Leon's secretary and
