American Association for the Advancement of Science.
SECTION H——ANTHROPOLOGY.

American Anthropological Association.

New York, November 12, 1904.

The Fifty-fourth Meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the third meeting of the American Anthropological Association will be held at Philadelphia, Pa., during Convocation Week, Tuesday, December 27th, 1904, to Monday, January 2d, 1905. Dr. Walter Hough, of the United States National Museum, will preside over Section H, and Dr. W J McGee will preside over the American Anthropological Association.

You are cordially invited to be present at this meeting, and to contribute papers on subjects connected with your field of research. It is hoped that Section H and the American Anthropological Association will be well represented, and that a special effort will be made by the members to be present. As there will be published this year only one programme, it is absolutely necessary that titles of papers should be in the hands of the Secretary of Section H not later than December 12th; then abstracts of papers or the papers themselves may be sent later at the author's convenience.

All communications should be addressed to the Secretary of Section H, and you will confer a favor by informing him, at your earliest convenience, of your intention to be present, and whether you will be able to present a paper.

Fraternally yours,

GEORGE H. PEPPER,
Secretary Section H.

GEORGE GRANT McCURDY
