the Museum Friday, and found, to our astonishment, that the boxes had not yet been heard from, but no doubt they will be here by the time you arrive.

I reckon you wont get this letter much before the 8th or 10th of December, so I will not write you again unless I hear from you definitely to do so, as both of us think you ought to be home between the 15th and 20th. Be sure to let us know just when and where you will arrive, for we want to turn out and cheer your home-coming, and you may be sure that I for one, will be very glad indeed to see you. 

Trusting you have had good luck and found a lot of stuff in the mounds, with a special prayer on my part that the treasures include some jade, believe me, as ever,
