My dear George,
In view of the telegram that Mr. Hyde received this week, asking him if he would take care of the Philadelphia meeting, I imagine that you are finding enough interest and work where you are to keep you longer, and therefore I imagine that this letter will reach you.
Yours of the 25th I received this morning, and it certainly was a fine letter to get. I am crazy to see the material that you speak about, for it reads almost impossible, to think that it is still possible to get a collection like you speak of. I am particularly interested in the copper objects you have found, and the naturally jade pieces. I can't tell you how delighted this letter has made me, but it seems that you will never get back
