There has nothing been heard at the Museum from the boxes, and I think it might be well for you to write us exactly what you did in regard to shipping them, so that we can have them traced.
Mr. Keppler was at my house last evening, and was very pleased indeed with the young Museum. He thought I had some very good stuff, and none that was very bad.
I am very glad that you and your wife are keeping well, for I can imagine what a fierce time you are having, and how bad the petty annoyances are down there in that insect-ridden country, but still, from all I have heard, the mosquitoes and wood ticks cannot be as bad as on the northwest coast.
Let us know about the pottery you have found yourself, if it is decorated and what kind of ware it is.
