repairs of said hotel which permanetly improve the property.

Petitioner further states that these repairs were made; and purchase as aforesaid; under the supposition that he should retain the said hotel another year, and that he has acted in entire good faith in the purchase of the said hotel, and in making the repairs on the same. Petitioner further states that hereby appended is a schedule of expenditures made whom the repairs of said building, which he can fully substantiate, and which he really believes an just and correct. That under the lease above mentioned, he pays a fair, just and reasonable, cent the premises.

You petitioner further states that he is informed and believes that the firm of Brown Brother & Co of New York City with others claiming to own the said hotel building and property, are now prosecuting a claim for the recovery of said property and its return to them. That if the said property be returned to such claimants, without consideration of his claim for monies honestly paid out on the permanent repair and improvement of the same, he will be
