Personally appeared before me Harvey Officer Deputy for Richard A. Inge, Clerk of the Probate Court of said County the within named William G. Conner one of the subscribing witnefses to the within deed who being first duly sworn deposed and said that he saw the within named Jane E. B. Conner whose name is signed thereto, sign, seal and deliver the same to the within named William T. Martin and Margaret D. C. Martin, his wife, that he, this deponent, subscribed his name as a witnefs thereto in the presence of the said Jane E. B. Conner and that he saw the other subscribing witnefs, Henry L. Conner, sign his name in the Presence of the said Jane E. B. Conner and in the presence of each other, on the day and year therein named. Beginning at a stake on the margin of the Bayou crofsing the Old Court House road and on the south side of the Bridge, between "Linden" and the residence of Wm. St John Elliott, and running thence along the south side of said road, South sixty nine degrees and fifteen minutes East, thirteen chains and thirty five links to a stake: thence at right angles to said road South twenty degrees + forty five minutes West, eleven chains and twenty links to a Red Oak, on the margin of Bayou, thence along the meanders of the bayou to the place of beginning.
