Large quantities will be needed. Col L. wishes me to Say something of the propriety of Building a Freedmen's Hospt. at this Post. Lumber can be had for 50 per thousand feet. Some suitable place for the sick is much needed now and will be more so Later in the Season. and there is not now any Building suitable for that purpose in the possession of the Bureau.
