The fauna is different there as we already know, completely cut off from the rest of the island by the "Plaine du cul de sac" at Port au Prince & the chain of lakes -

About the "yellow warbler" - I shot a pair in mangroves at Port รก l'Eau not long before leaving - They may be in the last shipment, or they may have got lost.

I am going up into the hills of Pennsylvania this week, looking for "a home", which means a couple of thousand acres of wild land. Then will be ready to go "somewhere" - which may mean Hayti in S. America. Of course Yours Truly is out of military service & probably medical service too - will you be in Washington next week (Sep 9th-16th)? I may come down for the
