Dearest Mom & Uncle,
Hi! How's everything? How is Grandpa? Please give him my love. My exams were over on the 29. I had a tough time Monday night. I got up at 2 a.m. to study. After that, I was pooped. Shirley had to give me a massage on Tues. night. After that, we had a 3 day retreat. On Friday, I went out to Auntie Marjie's. That night, Andrew took me to a party in Berkeley. I had a lot of fun. All, at least, most of the boys were from D.B.S. I got back to Aunt Marjie's place about 1145A.M. On Sat., I went shopping & a movie with Mary Jane, her daughter. At night, we watched T.V. Uncle Pat Wong, Lana's uncle, was very nice. He is going back to Hong Kong sometime [[strikethrough]] next [[/strikethrough]] this month. He said he will call you and to PoG [[words in Chinese?]]. Next week, there's a parade at Chinatown. It's for the New Year. I shall go to Aunt Marjie's again. I gave her a bottle of Dior's cologne for her kind hospitality. The perfume was given to me by Mrs. Martin. I do not like the smell. That's why I gave it to her.

Is Uncle Jack in Hong Kong? If he he's not yet arrived, would you please buy me some nylons and ask him to bring them back? I don't have any more left. Also, you might as well ask him to bring back my watch. I doubt if Maggie's coming back. So it's no use to wait for her to bring it. By the way, I wear size 9 1/2 nylons. If you can, please get me the mesh kind. Remember, it's the kind we get at Auntie Lo's office.
