Dear Ya Ching and George:

Your sweet child, Linda, really added to the pleasure of everyone during the holiday vacation. We enjoyed her so much and you'd feel proud to hear all the nice things said about her. Also, I want you to know she was very prompt in writing thank you notes to everyone. Nice training! 

Ernestine and Renee went with us where I drove Linda back to school and when we went up to her room with her, your package delivery through John Halinon was there. Linda opened it and was so excited over the contents. Margaret was, too! The sweater is lovely, I'm crazy about. Thank you, thank you. I can never ask you to do another thing, though!

As I said before, all of us loved having Linda.  Jerry Martin said she want to thank me for letting her have Linda- She fell in love with her. I think Linda had fun this. The children loved having her, too. Renee calls her Rinda- still doesn't pronounce l's.
