"Of course, the exact routes over which our help to China is moving cannot be detailed", he explained, "but the American people can be assured that their aid is reaching the millions of Chinese war victims for whom it was intended."

Mr. Wood noted that United States military priorities in some instances have forced postponement of relief shipments to China.

"However", he said, "we have been assured in conferences with United States Government officials that it is important for United China Relief to provide essential drugs and medical equipment for the Chinese people.

"Shipments now are going through in substantial volume. A number of them are on the high seas at this moment, and will be shipped into Free China by air freight from ports which must remain unnamed."
