CIRCLE 5-4100 CABLE UNICHINAID Dear Miss Lee, I hope that Columbus, Mississippi was not as bad as you thought it was going to be, and sincerely trust that you had a good time and that you are not too tired. Mr. Mueller and I have tried to work out the best plan for you to get your tickets for the various planes, and have found it to be somewhat confusing. That is the cause of so many telegrams being sent to you today. Mr. Mueller said if he had only thought to give you a card you could have attended to all of it wherever you are. He is sending you a card to White Sulphur Springs for you to use on the way to Flint. I have tried very hard to arrange for your stay in White Sulphur Springs for over Sunday [strikethrough] Wednesday night, but not plan has worked satisfactorily. I first thought I would be able to arrange for you to go out by train to Cincinnati, but that puts you in Cincinnati about thirty minutes too late for the plane to Detroit. To take a train to Detroit you would not arrive in time for the noon meeting scheduled by Mrs. Brinkerhoff. Therefore, the schedule is for you to leave Charleston, West Virginia at 4:40 P.M. Wednesday afternoon and arrive in Cincinnati 5:54 P.M. Leave Cincinnati at 6:35 P.M., and arrive in Detroit, Michigan 8:54 P.M. I am wiring Mrs. Brinkerhoff that you will arrive at that time, and imagine that she will want you to remain over night in Detroit to be flown out on Thursday morning, October second. If there is a change in this plan, you will receive a telegram at White Sulphur Springs from Mrs. Brinkerhoff, then you can follow her directions instead of mine.
