1. We expected that within five months beginning from December 1938, you will be able to solicit for us five thousand annual subscriptions (about one thousand from San Francisco, one thousand from Chicago and three thousand from New York). That is on the average, one thousand annual subscriptions per month.

2. The annual subscription rate is U.S. three dollars a year and five dollars form two years. For every annual subscription solicited, you may deduct one-third of the subscription fee as renumeration for your service.

3. You may approach oversea Chinese individuals or clubs or even American friends.

4. Just like Madame Chiang, Dr. H. H. Kung, Dr. T. V. Soong, General Yu Hon-Mou, General Wu Teh-Chen, the Bank of China, the Bank of Communications, the Kwangtung Provincial Bank and some others who gave special orders for several hundred annual subscriptions, you may ask people to order fifty to several hundred subscriptions each.

5. These subscriptions can be sent, according to the instructions of those who order them, to their American friends or cultural organizations in the United States. The lists of names and addresses may be sent to us by the subscribers themselves or we may submit the lists for their approval. As soon as we have the lists, we shall send our copies directly and regularly and shall mention to the receivers that the magazines are presents from their friends. Letters of acknowledgment which we may receive later on will be copied out and sent to the original subscribers.
