Dear Miss Lee

I have just received Tony Jenkinson's letter announcing your arrival by the same 'plane that brought it. I understand you are coming here and we look forward to meeting you very much. We'd like to do all we can to help you in whatever plans you may have. I think we ought to try and arrange a good China meeting for you if this is possible. There hasn't been a good one in Los Angeles for a long time.

I do hope that, in order that we can co-operate to the fullest possible extent, especially in the matter of publicity with regard to your arrival here, you'll let us know in good time when you are coming.
