Dear Mrs. Erickson:

We have recently had inquiries from our office in Paris for some very important French paintings.

Remembering your pleasant visit at our galleries when you came to look at some of our paintings, and also having heard a year or two ago that you were thinking of disposing of some of your pictures, we thought of writing to you directly to find out if you would be inclined to do so at the present time.

If so, we would welcome this opportunity to call on you and to have the pleasure of seeing you again.

Kindly believe us

Sincerely yours,
JACQUES SELIGMANN & CO., Inc.
