Dear Conservateur:
Your letter of August 8th., addressed to Mr. Germain Seligman has been forwarded to me, the gallery being closed for the usual summer vacation period.

I shall of course, convey word of your most interesting undertaking at the first opportunity, but fear I may not be able to contact Mr. Seligman until the first days of September when he will be returning to New York.
