May 15th, 1972 The National Gallery of Canada is pleased to have received, from the Government of France, the honor of presenting Ottawa, in the spring of 1973, an important part of the Ecole de Fontainebleu exhibition which is being prepared by the Musees de France under the direction of M. Michel Laclotte and Madame Sylvie Beguin of the Louvre. We have learned from M. H. Landais, Assistant Director of the Musees de France, that you have kindly agreed to loan the drawing by MAITRE DE FLORE, "Procris et Cephale", to our exhibition, which is tentatively scheduled to open in early March. To assist in preparation for the catalogue we would like to order two 8 x 10 in. glossy black & white photographs of this drawing. Pease indicate the exact phot credit you prefer.
