EUROPE LOG, page ten Friday, May 26th, 1972 Porjes To our astonishment, he telephoned us early this morning and sounded just like his old self. If I understand correctly, he has to stay in the hospital for five days, at which time they will take out the stitches, but of course I suppose we will not see him before June 5th, as he will be resting at home. Mrs. Raphael Stora was in yesterday, as her son, who is now a Paris dealer (Galerie "M" (?) had telephoned her asking that she take over to him a copy of your Merchants of Art. I told her we had none, and Julia made telephone calls to various book dealers, and even went to one down-town in an effort to oblige her, but without any success. She is flying over to Paris on Monday, and may get in touch with you. Holiday Again I want to remind you that we will be closed on Monday, the 29th (Memorial Day).
