Claridge's, London

June 24,1972

Dear T.,

Thank you for your log of June 20th.

Japanese Group. Evidently my writing was not very clear, as I gather from the copy of your letter to Mr. K. Noda, for it was my hope that you would be in touch with him and thus be able to post me about their financial requests. There is, of course, nothing further to do in this connection and I shall let them contact me.

Argentine collectors. I had assumed that by now Mrs. Halpern would have the addresses of these different collectors, but i trust she will have them by the time I return. I would like her also to obtain the address of a collector by the name of Ingham, who lives in Buenos Aires.

Malibu Director. Thanks for your cable which may be useful, as I am trying to get in touch with the big man.

Herewith letter for Mrs. Cooney, of which you will take cognizance so that you will be fully posted.

The new of the hurricane I hope has been exaggerated by the English papers, but in spite of this we are much concerned, as it seems to be veering towards New York. Do let us hear from you in this respect.

In view of what's happening there, suppose we should not complain, but London weather continues to be as bad as ever - a few hours of sunshine and then a series of showers. Last night we wore winter clothes and as a result of it all my cold and my bronchitis are also just as bad as ever.

When you receive these lines you will be about to leave for your vacation and should I not have another opportunity of writing you, know that our sincerest wishes for health and rest will accompany you.

Hi, T. - Gather from the papers that summer in New York is not being ideal either - even before the hurricane. Apparently northwestern Pa. was [[?]] hit by the flooding - do hope weather and seeing our little group of friends here - next week looks as though we will live, in the auction rooms - so many big sales. Ditto to Germain's wishes above - love,
