Hotel Ritz, Paris
May 22, 1972

Dear T.,

PORJES. Will you be good enough, in my name, to call up Mrs. Porjes and inquire how her husband is doing and conveying our very best wishes for a quick and complete recovery.

LEFEBVRE*FOINET. Herewith, destined for Porjes, when he returns, is copy of my letter address L.-F. which is self-explanatory. Porjes had sent me a photostat of L.F.'s invoice of May 15th.

HERBERT BIER. Herewith copy (only one I have) of my letter to him which needs no further explanation. I don't believe that this particular Lafage drawing will reach New York before Porjes will be back. However, you and he will thus be posted about the latest developments in this respect.

POSTAL STRIKE, Is announced, so I suggest that if an urgent answer is needed, that you cable, though they also threaten to include also cables and telephones.

Enc. Note for Mrs. Cooney
Letter for Porjes, for his return

Hi, T.- Excuse the typing peculiarities - my fingers are sill operating my electric machine at home! Weather is foul - rain, rain, rain and coolish, otherwise everything under control. Best to all, especially yourself.
