Dear SMr. Pepper:--
I desire merely to ack.rct.of your letter of the 18th and want to express my thanks for your kindness in all that you have said and for the pamphlets sent me. That is just waht [[what]] I wanted. I am anxious to get at my copy as I shall wish to have it out of the hands of the printer by Feb.
I appreciate greatly your advice and I think you are perhaps right in your notion that I have the job done here. I shall perhaps do so,as at bottom the thing is intended to be an advertisement. It will not be necessary for me to go to the expense of trouble to have any thing very fine. Then, too,I have n't got the time, nor the experience either, to write up anything real scientific or full in the matter. And,it is doubtful also if such treatment would be the best for my purposes. I think likely that it will be very similar in form and style to the pottery folder.
I also appreciate what you say as to the "Tegua Dialect" and thank you for your trouble.
Trusting you may command my services sometime in return,I am,
Very truly yours,
