5. Old Nootka War Club used by Chief Jonnie, a very rare Spesiman inlaid all over with Ceremonial Shells Scalp in Top. This pise is a wonder I had one similar to this wich the Princess of Whales bought of me 2 years ago while here for $75.00. The Nootka Indians where the wildest and ugliest Tribes + took the Scalp of the Enemies they where still better carvers than the Haidah's but not more now, very few alive of them and those with alive are [[N.G.?]]

No 6 is a very fine carved Rattle all on one Pise made by a Haidah Indian it is only 9 years old (about) but a choice pease + very cheap at $7.50

No. 7 The painted Box the only Box I had in all my existence wich Bottom as well as side had been sewn together with Raw hide, same is very old + used to belong to Chief Jonnie of the Nootka Indians' who used to keep his War things in them, the Cover of the Box is cracked but they mended it with Cedar [[Strips?]] wich does not decrease its Value. This Box is made out of Cedar.
