HOMER E. SARGENT
LAKOTA HOTEL
CHICAGO

December 13th 1905

My dear Dr,
There was just about the right amount of time for me to catch the train when leaving New York. We came on here from Worcester last Sunday, leaving W. in what they call a "regular western blizzard" with snow a foot deep. At Albany it was cold but there was little snow. Through Michigan there was but little snow and it became much milder. Here it is fine and beautifully mild. The Madam stood the trip fairly well and we expect to leave here the 20th
Wish you would ask Prof. Seville if the photo and impression he took of the ring are satisfactory to him
