I have just telephoned Ben's office and they say they expect him back in about two weeks, and a letter addressed to Charleston, South Carolina, in care of C.B. Huiet, will reach him.  This is all I know about him, as I have not heard any thing directly since the letter I told you about some weeks ago.  From the 6th or 7th of January to now is certainly a short vacation for a busy man.

Dont [[Don't]] forget that next Friday is the monthly meeting of the Board of Directors, and I must have a report from you as assistant curator of the American section.  I would make it as concise as possible, and if possible, mail it to me Tuesday or Wednesday morning at the latest, so that I may have it a day before the meeting.  Mention the matter about the photographing which I told you and what has been done in that, and it might be well
