THORNDIKE Interstate Fair DON V. MOORE SECRETARY SIOUX CITY, IOWA March 22, 1924 Mrs. Chas. Oliver, Berkeley Hills, California. Dear Ruth - I am enclosing a circular which is being generally circularized in the northwest. I would like to send you some correspondence that I have had with Mr. E. H. Middagh, Mgr., who can be reached at Post Office Lock Box 702, Minneapolis, Minn., but do not care to send it on the chance that I have your wrong address. While in Chicago last week I was told you were living at Berkeley Hills, but could give me no street address, so I am sending this letter and if you care to have the correspondence that I have had with this party, which is an alibi for using the name Ruth Laus, I would be very glad to send name to you. I wonder if you remember that night that you came down from the Minnesota State Fair Board rooms at the hotel in Chicago, and authorized me to announce that you had retired from the flying game. At that time you promised me an autographed picture, but evidently this promise has slipped your mind. Isn't it about time you made good? I understand that both you and Charlie are finely situated in California and doing well. I know of no two people in the amusement game who are more deserving of peaceful lives and success than you and Charlie. Please let me hear from you as soon as possible. Yours very truly, DVMoore-Secretary
