"Grass Roots" -NAA
The NAA, from its beginning, has fostered and supported aviation at the "grass roots." It serves Chapters by providing program material and suggestions, effecting interchange of information and ideas, and in many special ways as needs arise. Speakers and films, for example, can often be arranged through NAA for Chapter meetings.

The NAA monthly publication, National Aeronautics, keeps members briefied [[briefed]] on important aviation developments as well as other Chapter and National activities. To aid Chapters in promoting aviation education in schools, each issue of National Aeronautics now includes indexed listings of source materials such as publications, films, maps and other training aids.

Organization Affiliates
NAA is proud to number among its affiliates the leading aviation industry and sporting groups. The memberships and facilities of such organizations as the U.S. Civil Air Patrol, the Academy of Model Aeronautics, the Soaring Society of America, the National Parachute Jumpers-Riggers, Inc., and several others - as well as many large Affiliated Clubs - are thus available for furtherance of the broad program which makes NAA truly "Local in Character - National in Influence!"
